⚠️ Important: Avoid Uploading Images in Shopify Directly
When you create an experience using the Experiences App, it automatically generates a corresponding product in your Shopify store. While Shopify allows you to upload product images directly, we strongly recommend you avoid uploading or editing images in Shopify for these products, at least for now.
🛠 Why?
We’re currently fixing a bug where:
If you upload an image first in Shopify (instead of through the Experiences App),
Then later make edits to that experience via the app,
The image may be deleted unintentionally. 😬
✅ What to Do Instead
To ensure your product images remain intact:
Go to your Experiences App.
Find the experience you’d like to edit.
Click the three-dot menu (...) on the experience card.
Select Edit Experience.
Upload your images in the image section of the editor.
💡 Tip: Always manage your experience images through the app, not Shopify, until this bug is resolved.
