How to Delete an Experience in the Experiences App

This guide explains how to safely delete an experience from the Experiences app while ensuring your customers are properly taken care of.
Basic Steps to Delete an Experience
Navigate to the home section of the Experiences app
Click on "Experiences" to view your list of experiences
Find the experience you want to delete
Look for the three dots (โฎ) menu next to the experience
Click on these dots to open the contextual menu
Select "Delete" from the menu options
Confirm deletion when prompted with "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this experience?"
Important Considerations Before Deleting
Before deleting any experience, please note:
Customer Notifications: Even after deletion, customers who have booked the experience will still have:
Confirmation emails from Experiences in their inbox
Order confirmations from Shopify
Future Bookings: Check if anyone has booked the experience for future dates
How to Handle Existing Bookings
If your experience has future bookings:
Click into the time slot that has future bookings
For each booking, you have several options:
Email the customer to notify them of the cancellation
Cancel the order
Process a refund
Transferring Customers to Another Experience
Select the order you want to transfer
Choose the transfer option
Select an alternative experience to move the customer to
Choose an appropriate time slot
Confirm the transfer (the customer will be notified)
Final Step
After handling all existing bookings, you can delete the experience using the abovementioned steps.
